چکیده

This paper treats a high-level, algebraic programming method for the on-line control of actions in a realtime, parallel processing environment. The method is based on interaction of path expressions. On the basis of a set of path expressions evocation of actions can be controlled in realtime in a fully automated way. It is shown how intelligent system behaviour can be obtained by a combination of rules given as path expressions. Each of these rules specifies some partial behaviour to which the system must comply. The control system operates as a rule-based action planning system that works on-line in an asynchronous environment. 11. PATH EXPRESSION CONSTRUCTS The basic path expressions constructs that we will consider are: sequential composition (using the sequence operator ’;’) parallel composition (using the parallel operator ’&) altemative composition (using the choice operator ’,’). Extended path expression constructs are the combinatory composition or intersection (using the operator ’*’) and repetitive forms of compositions as shown in table 1.

Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of endurance training on muscle NHE1 and NBC1 gene expressions in type 2 diabetic rats. Methods: Male wistar rats (n=40), 4weeks old and 93.7±9.8g, were randomly selected and divided into control, diabetic control and diabetic training groups. The Endurance training was performed for 7 weeks on diabetic training groups (runni...

Conversion of regular expressions into realtime automata

We consider conversions of regular expressions into k-realtime finite state automata, i.e., automata in which the number of consecutive uses of ε-transitions, along any computation path, is bounded by a fixed constant k. For 2-realtime automata, i.e., for automata that cannot change the state, without reading an input symbol, more than two times in a row, we show that the conversion of a regula...

Backward and forward path following control of a wheeled robot

A wheeled mobile robot is one of the most important types of mobile robots. A subcategory of these robots is wheeled robots towing trailer(s). Motion control problem, especially in backward motion is one of the challenging research topics in this field. In this article, a control algorithm for path-following problem of a tractor-trailer system is provided, which at the same time provides the ab...

A Robust Feedforward Active Noise Control System with a Variable Step-Size FxLMS Algorithm: Designing a New Online Secondary Path Modelling Method

Several approaches have been introduced in literature for active noise control (ANC)systems. Since Filtered-x-Least Mean Square (FxLMS) algorithm appears to be the best choice as acontroller filter. Researchers tend to improve performance of ANC systems by enhancing andmodifying this algorithm. This paper proposes a new version of FxLMS algorithm. In many ANCapplications an online secondary pat...

Analysis and Synthesis of Facial Expressions by Feature-Points Tracking and Deformable Model

Face expression recognition is useful for designing new interactive devices offering the possibility of new ways for human to interact with computer systems. In this paper we develop a facial expressions analysis and synthesis system. The analysis part of the system is based on the facial features extracted from facial feature points (FFP) in frontal image sequences. Selected facial feature poi...
